Engagement Shoot: Matt ♥ RachelJuly 22nd, 2010 by Larissa

9 thumbs up

I have to say that this shoot definitely wins my favorite e-session of the month! It is the most adorable, cute, and absolutely charming shoot EVER. I know I say I love this and love that, but I really (emphasis on the really) adore this couple. The white boats, gorgeous lighting, serene beach, and old theater put it right up there on my list! Did I mention that the couple also has a great story? Here is a little bit of what the photographer, Sophie Murdoch of Mike Larson Photography , said about them…This couple met at school shortly before Matt took off for grad school. They spent most of their dating time long distance and as a result you get the feeling when they are together that they are always making each moment count. Matt is so obviously in love with his beautiful bride to be and Rachel perfectly compliments and matches his quick wit and charm. They are a darling, not to mention photogenic couple, a perfect match of sperrys and pencil skirts. We shot at the Santa Barbara harbor with a quick fortuitous stop at the historic Granada theater just in time for a biker to pass by on his vintage one speed. Hope you all enjoy the sweetness ladies & gents!! xoxo

10 thumbs up

This completely gorgeous e-session was just sent over by Mike Larson Photography, and I am loving everything about it! The couple started the day off at Old Edna Bed & Breakfast where they took some pictures inside the historic retreat, and ended the session at Sextant Vineyards where Heather works. There they had a gorgeous string bulb lit picnic that is so unique & beautiful..I am in awe!

Fresno Wedding by Sophie MurdochMay 11th, 2010 by Larissa

2 thumbs up

Happy Monday to all! As I have promised, I am delivering the dream shoot I have been talking non-stop about! To start the day off, Doug and Janelle had a private religious ceremony in Fresno LDS temple with close family and friends in attendance. Since they had a block of time between their ceremony and reception in Atascadero, the couple gave Sophie Murdoch from Mike Larson Photography the go ahead to coordinate her dream wedding shoot. With a little bit of help from her assistant “who fell from heaven”, her sister-in-law that provided all the great decor, and 100 oranges, I would say she pulled if off flawlessly. The details are all so perfect….from the vintage Vespa, aviator goggles, velour tux and gorgeous couple, it is the ultimate dream wedding shoot.   I am so honored and beyond excited that Sophie Murdoch choose TSB to debut this lovely event!
