I’m ALIVE! lol It feels like I have been gone an eternity and I am so happy to be back with a small sneak peak of my friends Matt & Ashton’s love session! I have missed everyone (still reading all of your blogs) but I really am so happy that I get to explore this new side of my creativity and pray that one day I will be able to dive into wedding photography permanently! Let me just say…I totally underestimated what it takes to take a good picture. I am sure that sounds completely naive to some people but I really didn’t think it was that difficult. I mean…all you have to do is look at something and hit the shutter button, right? WRONG! There are things called f-stops (aka aperture), shutter speed, iso, lighting, etc, etc. etc that all work together. Wha???? Yup, so I have been reading my booty off, taking classes, and have been practicing under a local photographer that I admire. All of this “practice” and I finally got up enough gall to do my first shoot. So are you ready to see a little bit of it? I have the entire shoot coming up soon but I am still editing my 200 something pictures. HA! Please enjoy!

I have gained about 10lbs from all the chocolate and candy but it was worth it! :) Eh, it will give me a reason to have a New Years resolution! haha Okay, today I have a seriously fun shoot to share with you. This e-session is definitely going down as one of my favorites! The multiple wardrobe changes, fun vintage props (real props), and location are quite amazing! The couples fun personalities definitely shone through and it looks like they were down for just about anything! Also, check out the wrecked plane…can you find a better prop?? OMG! Here are a few words from the uber talented photographer, Chelsy Cardin: Meet Dennis and Amanda (aka Panda). This was the first time I have photographed an “Engagement Session” when the couple is not actually engaged (yet…hint, hint). The location, the numerous wardrobe changes, and their unique personalities, made this photo session one of my favorites from this year. Dennis and Panda have a fun and playful vibe, while being sexy at the same time. I wish I could show off all of the photos (they are all amazing), but here is a sneak peak of my favorites. Enjoy!
