This is one of the most incredible DIY weddings I have seen so far! Not only is everything super beautiful, personalized, and unique, but the bride (with the HUGE help of her mother) threw a fabulous wedding on a budget! Don’t you just love creative brides?
A few of these fun DIY items include Misty’s parasol (very cool!!), centerpieces, candy bar, bridesmaid gowns (beautiful!), groom/groomsman’s ties, and the invitations. Btw, you have to check out their “guest book” which isn’t a guest book at all….it is a guitar they had everyone sign. Loving it!! I want to give a BIG CONGRATS to Misty & Matthew (you two are adorable btw) and thanks to Hope Photography for capturing all the lovely details. Read below on how Misty saved a ton of money on her wedding!

Real Wedding: Jim ♥ ThereseJuly 23rd, 2010 by Larissa
I have a gorgeous little gem for you tonight that is super chic and has everything your little heart might desire! Get a good chair, sit down, and get ready! Jim & Therese were married on the beaches of Santa Monica at a super fabulous luxury resort called Shutters. Not only did they have beachfront views, breathtaking flowers, and a fabulous place card display, but the bride {for all the ladies out there} wore some killer heels! Ooooh how I love heels! Huge kudos go out to the uber talented, Amelia Lyon, who captured every lovely shot. And here we go….!!

Decor Galore: Something BlueJuly 21st, 2010 by Larissa
So, we all know the saying: “something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue”. The original saying started in ancient Rome when brides wore blue to symbolize love, modesty, and fidelity. Since I was recently inspired by a bouquet I saw earlier this week, I had the urge to put up some pretty little blue inspiration. Now, I don’t put together “normal” looking boards like everyone else….mine are a little unconventional and I like to spread the gorgeousness out! Hope you enjoy!
