Hey guys! I am sure you have noticed that I’ve been MIA these past few days, and that is because I am getting ready for my hubby to get home from Afghanistan!! Woohoo! I am super excited & have a million things to do to prepare. Needless to say, I am one busy gal right now! Ok, now lets move on to the good stuff which is one super sweet wedding by Brooke Courtney Photography. The location was an absolutely gorgeous country inn, the flower arrangements were out-of-this world beautiful, and the guests had fun dancing the night away to a live band! Sounds like a dream wedding to me! Enjoy ![]()

Real Wedding: Heidy ♥ JoeOctober 20th, 2010 by Larissa
Today I have such a gorgeous wedding to share with you guys! It is all DIY with some incredible details…oh how I love details!
Take a peek at the bride’s heels which are banannas (as Rachel Zoe would say), and the flower girl’s adorable tutus. I just want to give out a big thank you to Taryn Kent Photography who captured the day beautifully! ♥♥♥ Here is Heidy to tell you a little more about their big day: The planning of our wedding was pretty intense. I did it all myself, and my best friend during the process was ORGANIZATION! I got pretty creative on certain things so that I would be able to afford the wedding dress of my dreams. For example I designed and printed all of my Print work; wedding invites, bridal shower invites, rehearsal dinner invites, even the table seating chart, etc… For our save the date, I created a blog – Save This Date Please - and I sent it out to our guests about 7 months in advance, since our wedding day was on Labor Day weekend.
My sister and I made all the table runners which were made out of burlap, we made the tule balls and hung them from the ceiling the day before my wedding, we bought these old glass ornaments from Michael’s for 25 cents a piece, glue gunned fish line to them and hung them around our sweet-heart table which turned out awesome! My sister Isa was my angel the last month before my wedding, it was like we became clones of eachother to make a little wedding prep army. My day was the most magical day of my entire life! My dad was soooo happy and the look on his face was worth every single ounce of stress.

Sweden Wedding: Ana Gabriela ♥ ChristianSeptember 28th, 2010 by Larissa
Sometimes I get truly sappy when reading some of the weddings sent my way. This is definitely one of those times because the love story I am about to share is incredible, and began over the internet 6 years ago! Across oceans, continents, and thousands of miles this couple found a true soul mate in one another. Christian lived in Italy at the time (originally from Sweden) while Ana Gabriela lived in Venezuela. She expressed interest in studying abroad just like him and their connection was instant! Christian decided to buy a ticket and chance his luck by visiting Ana Gabriela in South America, and they have been inseparable since! I fell in love with their story and the images definitely speak for themselves. While the couple was wed in Sweden at the gorgeous Varberg Church, they now reside in London. I want to send out a big thank you out to the extremely talented Erika from Erika Gerdemark Photography for sharing these amazing images and capturing the day so beautifully! xo
