Real Wedding: Misty ♥ MatthewAugust 5th, 2010 by Larissa

8 thumbs up

This is one of the most incredible DIY weddings I have seen so far! Not only is everything super beautiful, personalized, and unique, but the bride (with the HUGE help of her mother) threw a fabulous wedding on a budget! Don’t you just love creative brides? :) A few of these fun DIY items include Misty’s parasol (very cool!!), centerpieces, candy bar, bridesmaid gowns (beautiful!), groom/groomsman’s ties, and the invitations. Btw, you have to check out their “guest book” which isn’t a guest book at all….it is a guitar they had everyone sign. Loving it!! I want to give a BIG CONGRATS to Misty & Matthew (you two are adorable btw) and thanks to Hope Photography for capturing all the lovely details. Read below on how Misty saved a ton of money on her wedding!

Oh boy do I have a treat for you today! Ever wondered what it would be like to attend a wedding where you would walk away thinking that was the best thing since sliced bread? Well, wonder no more because you are going to love this little gem! Carrie & Jason threw a glam rock-and-roll wedding that was not only pure gorgeousness (uhum…bouquet), but also mixed in cool details such as the handmade record label invitations. Btw, Jason made the invitations as a surprise to Carrie! Lucky gal! :) The couple is adorable, the wedding epic, and I want to thank Jen Hecht of Thistle & Glass Photography for sending this my way….every shot is utter perfection!

Real Wedding: Saadeh ♥ BridgetJuly 28th, 2010 by Larissa

5 thumbs up

Get ready because the next wedding is filled to the brim with creativity, fun, and beauty! Bridget (the bride) is a litigation attorney by day and a super creative wedding planner by night! :) I was in awe when I read the laundry list of items she handmade (with the help of her willing..or unwilling fiance) including the adorable save-the-dates, chalkboard menu’s, and ribbon wands. The ribbon wands are my favorite! When reading her story, I thought it was hilarious how Saadeh (her then fiance) had a look of fear when Bridget brought home her new electronic paper cutter. haha I think all men can understand what he was feeling at this exact moment! Now, not only did this couple create a gorgeous wedding but they also had a fun venue which provided tons of outdoor activities for their guests to take part in including: zip line, waterslide, water trampoline, kayaks, tennis courts, basketball courts, and more. The extremely talented, Stella Alesi, captured all the gorgeousness and fun from the day! Enjoy ladies & gents ♥
