As some of you know, this week I had an awesome jewelry giveaway with Lili’s Corner, and the drawing will be today around 5:30 CST….so if you haven’t commented yet I would do so asap! I also met with the super sweet Christie from Hindsight Bride and we are putting together a podcast for everyone….it is top secret right now but I will fill you in on it a little later! She has a super fabulous blog which offers “hindsight” advice to brides & always has great ideas, finds, and inspiration..so if you haven’t been over there I would check her out! Other than that I am leaving you all with my fun finds below & I will see you back here in a few hours for the jewelry giveaway!! :)

Alabama Wedding: Meegan ♥ DanielAugust 20th, 2010 by Larissa

7 thumbs up

The next couple I am about to introduce are SO adorable together, and have an even sweeter love story! This southern affair featured elegant DIY details, one gorgeous wedding dress, lighted chandeliers, and five wedding cakes!! Yes, you heard me right….FIVE wedding cakes! Wowzers! The day was captured beautifully by Stephen DeVries Weddings, and I. Am. In. ♥!

Here are a few words from the gorgeous bride: I really wanted our special day to be really laid-back and comfortable for everyone. June in Alabama is really hot, but we both grew up in Auburn and met in high school, and graduated from Auburn University. Daniel’s Aunt did the flowers as our wedding present and they looked wonderful! We had 5 cakes because we both love sweets and couldn’t pick any flavors so we had them all! And our groom’s cake was Auburn University’s Jordan-Hare Stadium because we are both Auburn Alums and it is a staple in any Auburn fans life! We did not have a wedding party other than my mom as my MOH and his dad as the BM because it was about our love and new life together! Guests were given home-made Chocolate Chip Carmel Sea Salt Cookies with a hand-stamped note, thanking them for attending the biggest day in our lives.

Arizona Wedding: Zack ♥ JacquiAugust 19th, 2010 by Larissa

7 thumbs up

My head feels like it is literally reeling from looking at this amazing wedding. It reminded me of the movie Desperado…everything was so romantic where even the sky almost seemed as if it was smoldering. One thing that awe-struck me was that Jackie made her own jewelry & Zack’s wedding band! He also had her ring made, and they surprised each other at the alter! *Sigh* Vows were exchanged in a Spanish mission church which was left in its original state and declared a nationally treasured “ruin”. Whats more, they had a mariachi band playing, sweet details, and one of the best photographing their wedding. Sarah from Sarah Neal Photography is a true genius and captured every detail perfectly; furthermore, turning me into total and utter mush. Enjoy lovelies :)
