Costa Rica Wedding by Jose VillaJune 17th, 2010 by Larissa
Hellooooo beautiful! I always get so excited when I am about to see Jose Villa’s work, because he always puts out the best. Needless to say, this next wedding does not disappoint. I absolutely fell in love the simple, clean, and sweet deliciousness of this wedding. Completely makes you want to pack your bags to Costa Rica, right?? Every detail was captured in these awe-inspiring photographs, and I can’t think of a more perfect way to end my Wednesday. xoxo
From the photographer:
Akil is a awesome wedding photographer in TX. We first met when he took my Mexico workshop last year. When he and Alex asked me to shoot their wedding in Costa Rica, I about jumped through the roof. I loved every second of Alex and Akil’s energy the day of. Aimee of Tropical Occasions did such an incredible job and a huge Thanks to Anahi, her business partner for all the hard work. Joel Serrato helped me shoot this wedding.. he’s a fast film loader.. and Stephen of Cabo Luna Rentals & DJ serives for rocking the house with his great music all night long, who knew that Akil had some crazy moves.

Charming DIY Wedding in South CarolinaJune 10th, 2010 by Larissa
Let me just start by saying I am a complete and utter wedding nerd. Here’s why…I am proud to admit that I have looked at Anne & Eric’s wedding about five or six times pointing out how great each little detail is to my friends, family, or anyone around at the time! Ha! Yes, it is that good and no I am not lying about the number. This wedding is something I would call barn-chic. Since I am from Oklahoma it is definitely right up my alley! I am completely obsessed with the pumpkin & wasabi colors, cute little apples & oranges, and the adorable wreaths. Being a complete family affair and labor of love each little detail was designed by one of the family members. Here is a list of who did what: the handmade signs were executed by Anne’s cousins (Jeni & Lizabee), the decorations by Mary Ann & Steve, and all the little details (leaves on tree, tags, collections, etc) made by Anne’s mother (Patricia). Every second of the day was captured by Sea Star Arts and the images are stunning! So, without further ado……
