Hey guys!!! I’m ALIVE! lol It feels like I have been gone an eternity and I am so happy to be back with a small sneak peak of my friends Matt & Ashton’s love session! I have missed everyone (still reading all of your blogs) but I really am so happy that I get to explore this new side of my creativity and pray that one day I will be able to dive into wedding photography permanently! Let me just say…I totally underestimated what it takes to take a good picture. I am sure that sounds completely naive to some people but I really didn’t think it was that difficult. I mean…all you have to do is look at something and hit the shutter button, right? WRONG! There are things called f-stops (aka aperture), shutter speed, iso, lighting, etc, etc. etc that all work together. Wha???? Yup, so I have been reading my booty off, taking classes, and have been practicing under a local photographer that I admire. All of this “practice” and I finally got up enough gall to do my first shoot. So are you ready to see a little bit of it? I have the entire shoot coming up soon but I am still editing my 200 something pictures. HA! Please enjoy!

Freaky! I think I might know that girl. But I’m from Indiana, and you’re not. I knew a girl named Ashton from elementary school and I go to church w/her mom Marilyn. Anyway, it’s probably not the same girl but I just love that name
