California Wedding by Betsy Blue Photography

11 thumbs up

This wedding is so stinkin’ cute, right? I adore the fact that almost every detail of the wedding included one of their family members. Kristine’s grandmother handmade all the beautiful table linens and her brother played guitar during the ceremony & reception. Also, I love that they wrapped up those yummy rice crispy treats in cute little packages matching the wedding colors. Anything that is sweet will will me over….I have a major sweet tooth! At the end of the night the couple had their guests light sparklers as they made their grand exit. Love it! Thanks to Betsy Blue Photography for capturing these gorgeous pictures..you are awesome!

A few words from the photographer:

Kristine and Uriah have a once in a lifetime love and their romantic wedding displayed every ounce of it. Their spring backyard vision was classic and beautiful on the manicured lawns of The Muckenthaler Mansion. The late afternoon sun poured a golden light through the palms over their heartfelt ceremony and suspended globe lighting and intimate candles illuminated the joyful reception.

Kristine’s grandmother hand made all of the custom navy and white table runners/linens.  The floral displays throughout the venue, from the Urban Gardener, were spring garden deliciousness and the entire event was beautifully catered and coordinated by Colette’s Events.

For her “Something Blue”, Kristine wore a very special sapphire ring on her right hand. It was designed by her father and given to her mother, just before he passed away. Kristine’s mother then gave it to Kristine on her wedding day…a very special moment and heirloom.

Kristine’s brother Peter, accompanied by friend Phil Neujahr on the guitar, played the ukulele and sang Oh It Is Love by Hello Goodbye during the ceremony while DJ Will An kept an amazing array of “get up out of your seat and dance” songs piped out during the reception. Kristine and Uriah ended the night sprinting for their decorated car through a barrage of beautiful sparklers and friendly shouts. Overall, an amazing show of love and genuine joy at their very beautiful SoCal wedding!

Kristine & Uriah’s personal thoughts on their special day:

“The feeling of having everyone you ever loved and everyone who ever loved you, at the same place and at the same time to share such an important moment, made for an amazing day. We love our friends and family and it would not have made for the awesome celebration it was, if they hadn’t been there.”
